Susan Rosales has over 20 years of transit experience and is based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. She has worked on numerous projects in Los Angeles County, the Silicon Valley, Sacramento, Las Vegas, Dallas/Fort Worth, Seattle and Denver. Prior to consulting, Ms. Rosales directed multimodal planning and programs for a 29-city subregion of Los Angeles County with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Ms. Rosales has extensive experience with transit operations plans and cost-effectiveness evaluation for FTA Section 5309 New Starts projects and environmental documents, long-range transportation plans and transit project management from conceptual study through environmental clearance. Milbrey Heard, AICP has 15 years of transportation planning experience and is based in Atlanta. She has worked on a variety of transit projects in the Atlanta region and other urbanized areas in Georgia, as well as in Newport News, Chicago, Indianapolis, Grand Rapids, Washington D.C., Toledo, and Knoxville. She is experienced in short-range service plans, long-range operations planning, feasibility studies, and implementation planning. Prior to consulting, Ms. Heard’s Atlanta area experience includes transit service implementation in Gwinnett County and short and long-range multimodal planning at the Atlanta Regional Commission. James Baker has 20 years of transportation project planning experience. Mr. Baker has worked on numerous transit projects around the country, including projects in Denver, Orlando, Columbus OH, Chicago, Norfolk, San Francisco, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Cleveland and Washington D.C. He has worked on a wide variety of transit-related projects including operations plans and O&M cost estimates for numerous systems plans and FTA Section 5309 New Starts projects, short-range service plans for Comprehensive Operations Analyses and Transit Development Plans, existing transit service evaluations on a route-specific and sub-area basis, and travel demand forecasts. Tim Crobons has over 20 years of transportation planning experience. Mr. Crobons has worked on studies and projects in Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Minneapolis, Orlando, Tampa, Columbus, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Washington D.C., Charlotte, Norfolk and Seattle. Mr. Crobons has experience with a wide variety of transit-related projects including Service Plans and O&M Cost Estimates for numerous systems plans and FTA Section 5309 New Starts Corridor level projects (AA, DEIS, FEIS, PE), Short-Range and Long-Range service plans for Comprehensive Operations Analyses (COA), Transit Development Plans and Systems Planning. Dennis Markham has over 20 years of transit experience and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mr. Markham is noted for his expertise in transit financial modeling. He has developed numerous operating and maintenance (O&M) cost models for a variety of bus and rail transit modes. Mr. Markham has created custom transportation financial planning software for use by transit agencies and MPO's nationwide. He is also experienced in public transit funding analysis, assessment of transit operator performance, and conducting performance audits. Chris Adkins has nearly 20 years of transportation experience and specializes in travel demand forecasting and the simulation of bus and rail operations. Over the past 10 years, he has conducted several demand forecasting efforts for the EWGWCOG in St. Louis, as well as for numerous metropolitan areas across the nation including Miami, Kansas City, Atlanta, Denver, Dallas, Orlando and New York City. His has simulated bus and rail operations for the cities of Minneapolis, Seattle, Cleveland, San Jose and Dallas. Download resume >
Susan McCleskey has nearly 20 years of experience in transit operations planning, including operations and maintenance (O&M) cost modeling. She has worked on a variety of projects in Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Chicago, Seattle, Orlando, Cleveland, Norfolk VA, and Austin TX. Herbert Higginbotham has a wide range of experience in transit service planning, travel demand forecasting, financial analysis, and transit operations model development and is based in Los Angeles. He has developed bus and rail service plans for MIS/EIS and other operational studies and performed fare structure and financial analyses and projections. Mr. Higginbotham also has extensive experience forecasting travel demand for both large metropolitan areas and rural communities using a variety of application platforms. Glen Waters has 18 years of scheduling and service planning experience, with 13 of those years being at public transit agencies. Mr. Waters has extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with service planning, and has been responsible for the development of new bus route services and the reconfiguration of existing bus services at both LYNX (Orlando, FL) and MARTA (Atlanta, GA). He has also worked extensively with scheduling and run-cutting with TRAPEZE FX scheduling software. Sharon Hollis has gained experience in the transit planning industry since joining Connetics Transportation Group. She has developed and analyzed ridecheck surveys and on-board surveys in Clemson, South Carolina, Norfolk, Virginia and Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Ms. Hollis has experience with GIS and graphic programs. In addition to technical work, Ms. Hollis provides support for marketing, proposals and DBE certifications. Download resume >
Kara Stringer previously an Associate with Manuel Padron & Associates from 1999 to 2005, joined Connetics in 2008. While at Manuel Padron & Associates, Ms. Stringer worked on a Concept Marketing Plan for the Gwinnett County (GA) Transportation Implementation Project, a Five Year Transit Development Plan for the University of Georgia’s Transit System and a Comprehensive Operations Analysis (COA) for the Columbus Ohio Transit Authority (COTA). She has also managed ridecheck and on-board survey efforts for transit systems in Augusta, Athens and Orlando. Since joining Connetics, Ms. Stringer has completed Arc-GIS analyses and mapping assignments for the MARTA MOVE (Making Operations Very Efficient) Study, the Corpus Christi (TX) COA and the Peoria (IL) COA. Mr. Nathan Barnett is the newest addition to Connetics Transportation Group and has quickly gained industry experience. Mr. Barnett is presently working on a Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA) in Baton Rouge and a Transportation Development Plan (TDP) in Northwestern Arkansas. Download resume >
